Janice Rhodes at Red Chair Gallery

Janice Rhodes is featuring new paintings at the Red Chair Gallery in downtown Bend through the month of December. The paintings are a molten mixture of pure beeswax, Damar (tree resin), and pigments on board called Encaustic. Janice uses this centuries-old medium in a realistic, contemporary style.
