ENCAUSTICS - AN ANCIENT ART

A member of High Desert Art League, Janice Rhodes, is showing her Encaustics at Broken Top Country Club from March 18th until April 13. The public is invited to view the boldly colored, heavily textured paintings which are called Encaustics, an ancient art medium that combines bees wax with color and which originated in Ancient Greece.
