Helen Brown works in watercolor and graphic design from her studio in Sunriver, Oregon. Her paintings are known for their unique composition and dramatic perspective. Helen earned a Master of Arts degree and spent 15 years teaching French in the U.S. and Australia. Helen's instructors have included Judy Morris, Al Stine, Frank Francese, Ron Ranson, Bert Dodson, Ted Nuttal and Jean Grastorf. With numerous works accepted in juried shows her well-designed compositions are often recognized with awards such as "Best of Show" and "People"s Choice."

• This year, Helen has solo exhibits at the Scott Milo Gallery in Anacortes (June 2010) and at the Elsinore Gallery in Salem, Oregon in July, 2010.
• Solo shows in Orcas Island, Washington; and Bend, Madras and Sunriver, Oregon.
• Work accepted in juried shows such as the Northwest Watercolor Society, Watercolor Society of Oregon, Memphis/Germantown National Juried Art Exhibit, Emerald Arts Center National Juried Show, Mirror Pond Gallery's National Watercolor & Pastel Show, Robert's Field Juried Art Exhibits and the Sisters Art Show & Country Fair.
• Member of the Watercolor Society of Oregon and qualified for signature membership to Northwest Watercolor Society in 2008.
